Thanks, Allyn. That is exactly what I was using before - got it from a NAPA, so hopefully they'll have it again. I suspect had I not hit the deer it would be OK, even after 5 years of usage. The problem is getting the wrap set because I need to keep the pipe mated to itself and of course, it doesn't want to do that. Can't remember what I did the first time, honestly.
