16v sunroof repair?

It's not all that terribly difficult once you see how the
roof works.  The Bentley is actually pretty good on the
subject, and if you follow it closely and make the
adjustments as described, the roof should work fine.  When
lubricating the cables, be sure to use a silicon spray type
lube - you do NOT want to attract dirt into the cable
guides as it makes the operation of the roof quite
difficult.

I've seen it done, although the *entire* mechanism has to
be swapped out.  I'd say see if you can't fix what you've
got first, as it is very nice when it's working correctly.
