16v sunroof repair?

They are both metal...  :-(  I don't know of a glass roof that will fit,
over than aftermarket, and I doubt you want to spend 800$ or worse...

As for troubleshooting it, I am no help...

has anyone ever overhauled a 16v sunroof before?  mine pops up but
doesn't slide back.

what i'd really like to do is put a glass one in, but i'm not sure
what other sunroofs might be compatible...

can i use a 16v gt1 or a jetta sunroof?
