G60 swap questions

Can't speak about the brakes (think you need some adapters for that?) but you're pretty much on-target for the engine.

Also get the radiator and all the coolant hoses. If you are going to stick with the g-ladder, it is IMHO easier to mount the G60 rad than to try to move the Scirocco rad enough to fit it. YMMV, but it doesn't hurt to have extra parts! Mount the rad flat against the hood landing, and presuming your motor mounts are good, you'll have about 3mm of clearance and no problem. And the G60 rad is bigger.

020 trans is fine. MUCH easier to leave it alone, IMHO. Even if you believe the hype about the 02a being stronger, you can R&R your 020 once a year for the next three and still come out easier/cheaper.

The stuff you'll need to figure out as you go along:
- intercooler and plumbing (IMHO, no room for air/air, so air/water is the only thing than can be made to fit properly)
- wiring (Digifant is easy once you have done your research...but it looks intimidating at first)
- lots of little but relatively easy stuff...rad fan, pass. motor mout, fuel lines, etc

And I strongly recommend getting that gladder inspected/rebuilt FIRST. A bad junkyard charger (most of them are, unfortunately) can make the whole swap a nightmare.

Subject: G60 swap questions

Calling out Phil, Corey and all the other G60 swap gurus. I am trying to
think of all the parts I need to get to swap in the motor and front brakes
from a wrecked G60 Corrado. Am I OK in just getting the motor and using my
020 tranny so I do not have to swap over the the cable shift? Can I use a
standard 210 clutch? I intend to get the engine, supercharger, fuel system,
inter cooler and all the piping. The wiring is bad so I will need to source
some from a different vehicle later. On the brakes, I was just going to get
the front calipers and disks but will I also need to get the master
cylinder, booster and pedal assembly and any proportioning valves? Is it
worth my money to get the rear brakes also and swap over the entire system?
TIA for your help and any tips would be very appreciated.

Other news is that I have the wrecked 77 behind my truck right now! Can't
wait to get her home and start inventorying all the parts.
