Rear Wiper Question

I did a rear wiper motor repair technical article a few years back.  You will find it in the Tech section of Scirocco.org.  There are pictures in there of the motor and internal stuff.  I imagine the motor would spin backwards if you asked it to, and I don't recall whether the mechanism would or could be re-arranged to get the motion right, but my first guess off-hand is that it would work. 



 Take the wiper arm off and put a little piece of tape on the stub so you can see which way it is pointing.  Then hook up some wires to the connector so you can turn it on while you are standing back there and see what happens.

The direction is not the trick, it's the location of the switch that marks the<br>park location of the wiper.
