Tracing Electrical Drain.

There's a +12v push on connector on the rear of the clock.  I have to
pull the console out a bit (remove single screw behind shifter) on my
Mk1,  slide hand between heater box and rear of console, and
disconnect the wire to the clock.  Careful.. the terminal you pull off
the clock is always +12 volt so safest is to disconnect the negative
battery cable first, pull the push-on terminal off the clock, insulate
it so it won't touch any ground, and reconnect the battery cable.
Then see if you're still drawing current.  HTH
