Slight electrical issues?

The cooling fan will cause a pretty heavy draw on the electrical system. That
is why the mixture is set on a early cis system. with the cooling fan
running and the headlights on high beam.
If you are having a hard cranking problem when hot check your starter. It
may also have a heavy draw which culd act like a low battery.
I would doubt if your fuel pump Is causing a battery draw problem It
probably is not pulling over about 5amp and it has a 10 amp fuse for
protection.
