What would be the pro's to carburation on an 8V?

In the overall scheme of things I believe ITBs, or carbs with an individual choke/cylinder, is probably one of the last things you'd to make power on a normally aspirated engine.
In other words, the flow and response available from ITBs would be a waste unless the rest of the engine was built to a level to use it.
I can't see any benefit (except the bling factor) to a stock engine turning 6500 RPM. The stock fuel injection with a single throttle body isn't what's holding that engine back.
Built high CR short block able to turn 7500 minimum, ported head, big cam, headers, big exhaust THEN ITBs.
I'm with Chuck. The days of effing with carbs are long gone for me considering the tuneability of something like Megasquirt.
