What would be the pro's to carburation on an 8V?



I'm going to disagree. I don't think the low end suffers because of the ITBs. I think it suffers because of the big assed cams and incorrect/lack of tuning of the EFI.
No doubt, tuning ITBs is a lot more work than tuning a single TB plenum setup. But there is no reason that properly tuned ITBs will degrade low speed performance.
