Wedge Engineering Seat bracket for Recaro...?



I'm also currently struggling with the Wedge bracket being too tall. I've been 
trying to devise a way to get the bolt in the main tubing. See pic:

As I noted in the pic, I've already modified to other bracket much like Lance 
mentioned; putting a hole where the pink arrow is. But it's stil not low enough 
for me and I'm 5'10" (but I like LOTS of seat rake!  :)  This is for use with a 
set of Trophies.

Does anyone have any nifty ideas for getting a bolt in that tubing?

David - in your case, I'm guessing you've somehow tightened the rear skid pads 
too tightly preventing smooth rotation. You should be able to pull the front 
part (the "tounge") up enough to feed it through the original adjuster slot.
