Interesting...  So in this case would "rigidity" equate to "resistance
to twist" - which is what this bar does, or is that another property
altogether...  (ie: are calculations based on bending resistance
relevant to twist resistance?)

I think what I'll try to do is make a few different styles - one like
Shine's, another made with tubing, and another using C channel w/
Ron's specs.  I'll make the mounting holes the same on each so they
can be quickly swapped.  Track Day North (Aug. 19!) will be the
perfect place to test and evaluate the differences.

Thanks for the input guys!  Feel free to throw some more advice my way
