Two things: acceleration and stickers

please, trim this if you DO fire it back to the list. 

My main issue in life these days is poor acceleration in my MkI (ass
running). I have been chasing this problem for over a year and a half now,
and it's not going away. So could you take a moment to list reasons why it
would accelerate poorly? Chances are good I've checked/replaced/whatever,
but in case I've missed soemthing, list it ALL. I plan to dig into the car
hardcore this weekend, he's gonna go fast again, dammit. The engine is a JH
with RD pistons and G grind, oldskool straight CIS for fuelling, and knock
sensing electronic ignition. I have replaced nearly everything at least
once, redone wiring till I could do it as a career, etc, but the problem is
still there. What could be simpler? It's making me insane. So tell me where
to look.


Okay, the sticker stuff can be sent to me off list, I'm at the point where
I'd like some cash flow for the bigger ones, and some idea of what I'll
need for the others for Cincy, since most of you got what you needed last
year.
So: 

First: the smaller ones for the side windows, that say "www.scirocco.org":
These come in many colours, and two flavours, which I'll call "outies" and
"innies" for which side of the glass they go on.

So, tell me what flavour/colour/how many (off list), they're $1 each. I can
mail them or bring them to Cincy, LMK which you'd prefer.

Second: the bigger ones based on a crayon rubbing of a stock sticker, 44"
long, about 2 3/4 high, for the back of the hatch below the wing, says
"scirocco" in outline. I have to get my sample to the "spokescar" (Carrots)
for a photo, that will be a while. But it will fit under the big wing. It
will not fit the front windshield/MkI hatch (too long), so I'll be doing a
small run of shorter nes for those places.

Anyway, white, silver, Tornado red will be $10 each, frosted glass look/
brushed aluminum will be $15.  (all "outies") Other colours by
negotiation....they want to do runs of six at a time. (DW, we'll talk about
yellow...) I can mail or bring to Cincy, but I'd be more comfy not having
to front too much of the money. I have a rough idea who wants what from
previous mails, but woulod like to carve it in stone.

Third: (***NEW***) I may do a run of etched look shorter ones for the KmI
hatch, and they'd likely work as a window banner too. They'd be the same as
the MkII version pricewise. AFAIK, these were never stock on MkIs, so I'm
going with something less flashy for reasons of good taste....:) Unless
there's demand for other colours.
