Ye olde Head Gasket (8v)



Yeah, I am starting to think oil cooler, too.

Today I am going to drain the oil and yank the cooler.
 The only way I can think of to check it is fill the
coolant area with some old coolant and see if it will
leak out of the oil flow area.

Any other suggestions on testing it?

Either way, now that the head is out I think I'll have
it and the oil cooler taken it for a cleaning.  The
sludge from this whole endeavor has left everything
nasty.
