Don't be. 
On my car, the tire went flat quite rapidly in an industrial area, so I
probably hit a hunk of steel, and in my son's case, his suspension is so
altered air bags) that it looks as if the rear axle/frame had rubbed the
inner sidewall, it was quite thin. He has wheel spacers now, but didn't
always, so I suspect any tires would have done exactly the same thing. I'm
not blaming the brand, it was just an odd coincidence that the two cars on
that tire had problems within 48 hours of each other after a few years of
service without issues.
