Mark,

I can't determine if the seal (which they don't spec an actual part 
number for) will work without a chrome strip or not.

I'd say you might want to contact the seller directly, maybe they 
might even send a sample piece so you can check quality.

One thing; I'm pretty sure you can insert a black rubber bead in there 
instead of a chrome strip and get the 'wedge' effect the original 
strip produces.

One thing I do like about this site is the detail in advertising the 
cross section of weather strips, etc.

I'll be redoing some, not just on the Roc so this place may well come 
in handy.
