Works fine with the Audi 5cyl... There are many on the MS forums who
are running MS in their Audi's... For spark control though not all
options are available with the 5 cylinder engines - MegasquirtNSpark
(& Extra), for example, can use Ford's EDIS distributorless ignition
stuff or GM's HEI system but these options won't work with odd number
cylinder engines. However, you can still get full spark control with
MSnS using a 5 window hall sensored Audi distributor, so the only
limiting factor at the moment is that you can't use a distributorless
ignition system (yet). I've been talking to a guy in (iirc) Latvia
who's developing an ignition distribution board, which utilizes
standard Audi magnetic sensors on the flywheel, provides tach signals
to MS, and distributes the ignition signal from MSS to coil-on-plug.
INJ1 is used for all injectors, INJ2 is for boost control.

I hope to get MS installed on my Coupe Quattro 10vt soon - my fuel
mileage (running the hodgepodge fuel control system hacked in there by
the previous owner) is putting me in the poorhouse at the moment...
It's shocking how much gas I've been pouring into this car...

I just ordered a LM-1 wideband O2 sensor kit with x-mas money, and am
figuring out whether or not to order a prebuilt Megasquirt ($229 vs.
$140 for a complete kit)...

Later,

Mark.
