Gas tank questions (WTB)

Large fuel tanks are 13.3 to 13.7 gallons (depends on who you ask). I
believe it to be 13.3 gallons which is 50 liters. Previous tanks are 10.x
gallons. No Scirocco ever came with a 14.5 gallon tank, I would guess that
to be a typo.

Found a gas tank on http://gastanks.com which is
listed for 1984 and later Scirocco's (with the smaller
spare tire), but it is listed as 14.5 gallons. 
So, were all tanks created equally during this time
period (including 16V)?  My manual says 13.7 gallons.
My next question; who's got a good gas tank they'd
like to sell me from a 16V (or 1984+ MKII if they are
all the same)?
