Gas tank questions (WTB)

Subject: Gas tank questions (WTB)

Found a gas tank on http://gastanks.com which is
listed for 1984 and later Scirocco's (with the smaller
spare tire), but it is listed as 14.5 gallons. 
So, were all tanks created equally during this time
period (including 16V)?  My manual says 13.7 gallons.
My next question; who's got a good gas tank they'd
like to sell me from a 16V (or 1984+ MKII if they are
all the same)?

I've still got the tank from the '88 16v I parted out (last of the car
just went to the metal pile in the dump this weekend, except the solid
roof).
The tank fittings on top (small ones) are rusted and breaking off; but
that could be a quick epoxy job or braze repair.  No significant rust
otherwise.  In MA, come and get it if wanted...
