1.8T pistons in a 16v motor



"How was the tec 2 to get started?"
Just about like any aftermarket engine management. It's a crap shoot. If
they start right up then at least your in the ballpark and can tune from
there. The problem is you generally have several enrichments happening on
top of the basic pulse width when you're first starting, so it can be hard
to figure out what the basic pulse width should be if it doesn't start right
up. Also, you really can't tune anything until the engine is up to temp and
all the enrichments have stopped.
NGP is a good place to have tune your engine.
