Additional Resource - Repair Procedures Online

My local library offers free access to some "off the Web" databases that
are normally subscription (fee) based. While skulking around its listing
of databases I ran over access to Point 5 Technologies auto repair
references <www.e-toolbox.com>. (I think these are fee based.)

Covered:	Repair Procedures (Chiltons manuals online)
		Service Bulletins and Recalls
		Wiring Diagrams
Labor (times for each job) (Allows you to see how much money you saved
even though the 2 hour job took you all day. Also, if you had to buy an
expensive new tool, you can show that, although the total cost was the same
as paying a pro to do it, you end up with a tool that you can use next
time. (If you are taking your car to a shop for work you can get an idea
of what the labor cost will be.)

Check with your local library to see if access is available. If not, ask
that it be made available.

[Apparently Chiltons <www.chiltonsonline.com> is now part of Delmar
Learning <www.delmarlearning.com> which is part of Thomson
Publishing. At Delamr you can take an eCourse to prepare for the ASE exam.
($47 per module. ex. Brakes)]
