Downpipe Q: same as Jetta 16V?

A1 down pipes are the same (unless you've swapped in a taller 2.0L block)
and have a 90 where it bends to meet the cat. The A2 exhaust goes over the
top of the steering rack so it is more like a 45 deg angle from the manifold
until it gets tot he cat. So there is one bend in the A1 downpipe and 2 in
the A2. A1 = 1, A2 = 2! Can't be much simpler than that!

Ah, finally had enough of the monoxide headaches eh?

I dunno about the Jetta DP for sure, but I doubt it will fit. I think 16v
rocco exhaust is unique.

Your best (at least cheapest) bet is an aftermarket dp+cat that some
company sells brand new for $132. I lost the name and website; maybe
someone will chime in.

If you're willing to spend more, go TT.
