Speaking of our cars being possesed

Well, being rediculously busy, I finally got all three Roccs into the "Wind
Tunnel", the new digs (I'll post pics on Julie's site if she'll let me...).
So I go to push the poor rusty '80 into its final resting place, it wouldn't
budge, and it has no battery. So I jack up Klaus (the 79) and swap his flat
tire with one that holds air, fire him up (he's possessed of a good spirit)
and drive him past the (evil) 87 which still won't start (battery/ ground
issues, nothing stupendous, and really it's a good car overall, I just whine
about it a lot) and plug in the air pump to pump up the 80's low tire. Now
this car has driven exactly 5 miles in the last calender year, and that was
months ago. SO I dumped Klaus' battery into the 80, wiggle the ignition
wiring till I hear the fuel pump, and prime it a few times, and we have
ignition. Denny couldn't believe that I drove it in, it's been a garden
sculpture for so long. That one (sniff) wants to live. My passenger was a
bit disturbed, I had a deer mouse staring at me most of the way, 'till he
ran through the lacework floorboards. Then it was back to exorcize the 16Vs
demons, but of course Craptacular Tire failed me once again. I just need a
new screw for the main ground strap, but no dice. So the demons prevail till
tomorrow, electrons do not get to run free. I'll just sit back and wait for
the 8V'ers to pipe up, but I have been so impressed with how cheerful that
poor 80 is. A moment of silence for it's last trip please.
Cathy
87, 80, and 79 Roccs
PS, No Drew, the "headache" is NOT for sale.
