[TECH] 3a/JH HYbrid need help...please!

Well, on this issue I have to insist! (once again, I'm not EVERYONE!)
The knock box electronically provides all the advance the engine needs for
all conditions.
Using a JH mechanical advance distributor WILL give you roughly twice the
advance the engine should have.
Maybe the knock sensor is smart enough to back out some of this advance if
the engine is knocking, but your timing will not be optimal! (closer to
dismal!)
I'll bring a knock sensor distributor to Cincy and convince you if you
haven't changed over before then.
Dan
As an aside; most people on Vortex (EVERYONE!) seems to think that their
engine will be faster if they can just get more advance and more fuel! Where
do they get these ideas?
