Help! clutch problem!

1. cable broke (pushing clutch doesnt move arm on tranny). fix: easy.
2. actuator arm finger broke internal to tranny (cant tell from outside,
have to remove 5th gear cover (green circle thing)). be SURE you actuate the
clutch while inspecting finger through this hole, as when it breaks you cant
tell by looking at it in the disengaged position (spring holds the 2 pieces
together). fix: replace 5th gear cover assembly (swap from another tranny).
3. actuator rod punched through pressure plate center disc (highly unlikely,
but possible). if the finger works normally and pushes the throwout bearing
all the way in, and you still dont disengage the clutch, the issue has to be
at the other (engine) side of the tranny. fix: remove tranny and inspect
pressure plate / pushrod.
