Hi Folks;
So much talk about thrust bearings these days. My long time VW mechanic
says he can tell a persons driving habits by the condition of the thrust
bearing on teardown. Set at the stop lights with engine running, the car in
gear, the clutch in and the engine will need a new thrust bearing before the
other parts wear out.
