welcome to the list and support group for the ol MKI's (thee hee),as you
quickly sw byt he replies from many listers, check for rust, heck if you
find the 1.7 low on power. I can bring you a MKII JH engine Bottom end to
cincy for ya, it does have 183,000 Miles on it, but it is complete, nothing
a good rebuild of piston rings and bearings would not give it a good as new
life cycle if your up to getting your elboes greasy...let me know, the 1,8L
on your 1,7L head would be a nifty easy hybrid on a MKI, and if you want it,
its free.. Think of it as a welcome present to the family of the eternally
addicted scirocco owners...
