New Exhaust System Advice

A couple of days ago my '84 8V Scirocco became very loud while driving =
down the highway. I pulled over and checked it out and the exhaust pipe =
split in half a couple of inches in front of the muffler.
I'm currently considering replacing the whole exhaust assembly (factory =
original) from the catalytic converter to the tailpipe with one of the =
kits by Techtonics Tuning. This will be the first time I've every tried =
any kind of exhaust work, so I'm assuming these Techtonics kits would be =
pretty simple to install.
I'm current considering two different assembles, their 253.323 TT =
Exhaust 2.25 1984-1987 Scirocco-8V $205.00=20
with a Dynomax muffler
and the
253.323F TT Exhaust 2.25 1984-1987 Scirocco-8V w/ Flowmaster =
$260.00=20
with a Flowmaster muffler.
What kind of difference is there with two muffler systems? In other =
words what would I expect to see between a Dynomax and a Flowmaster =
muffler other than price?
I'm I going in the right direction with this exhaust system replacement?
