how do you identify shricks

Sorry if I missed the whole story... but how did you *break* a Schrick
cam?  You simply ran it in too many different engines which caused it
to fail?

And did this cause a catastophic(sp?) failure?
bent valves, etc...

Does Schrick warranty their cams for life?
