PROPORTIONING VALVES on 16v



the numbers are actually different than that. the brake cylinders are
different diameter front/rear, and the brake rotors are different diameters
front/rear, so the prop valves may not be doing a perfect 70/30 split in
hydraulic pressure, they just do the correct split (whatever that may be) so
the end result at the wheels is the desired split in braking force.
also, prop valves are set up considering the car is in a braking condition,
so this weight distribution turns into something like 85/15 or 90/10 (in
extreme cases), as weight shifts from rear to front as you brake.
