We just saw that on an A2 Jetta up at the shop after a stealer had
replaced the motor with a factory rebuilt (guy spent way too much
money). They had plugged the line for the temperature sender into the
wrong place. Just run the lines down, the wires should go to a sensor
to a coolant manifold coming out of the head? Perhaps the sensor is bad?
