tt race dp question: can I fit a cat with it?

The speed shop that 'modified' my cat on my 8V (pipe welded thru the 
center) also told me the same thing... All they did was write "Race only, 
not to be used on public roads" on my receipt to keep it legal.

Now the difference is that on 8V cars the cat bolts in so I just hand 
carried it to the shop and on a 16V, unless you remove the dp, you will 
have to drive it in but either way if the owner of the shop notes that on 
the paperwork then he is absolved of any responsibility... I'm not a lawyer 
so I don't know if that's 100% true...
