Throttle

Curious as to if anyone can help me with this. I have a 92 Jetta GL 8V. =
On cold mornings after being on the highway for say 10-15 minutes the =
throttle is sticking. Sticks pretty good too as if you push the clutch =
in it revs to like 5k. I sprayed the top of the throttle body where the =
throttle cable connects with WD-40 and it still does it. In fact did it =
this morning. I don't think its the cable sticking as even if I put my =
foot under the gas pedal and pull up nothing happens. Only thing I can =
think of is the butterfly thing inside the throttle body is sticking =
open? Anyone have anything like this happen and solve it?=20

P.S. Sorry about the Non-Scirocco content. That car is doing fine and =
not attempting to kill me by accelerating uncontrollably.
