I hate doing this, but it must be done



    I had a similar problem well over a year ago with Vince.  I returned
parts within 2 days of receipt of them and complete followed the procedure
described on his web site.  Next month, no credit on the Visa statement.
Calls and emails, "will be fixed immediately".  Next month, no credit on the
Visa statement.  Calls and emails, "will be fixed immediately".  Well, I
wasn't going to wait another month because he is basically stringing you
along until you pass 90 days since the transaction started.  That is the
time limit on your window of opportunity to file a dispute with Visa/MC.
Which I had to do.  Visa credited my account after I supplied documentation,
and, I assume went after him.  If this is a common theme you would think the
credit card companies would not want to do business with clients acting in
this manner?
    Read the back of your credit card statement for the time limits,
procedures and documentation.  A call to them wouldn't hurt either.
