roccs in rain?

I know exactly what your dealing with because I had the same problem today
(especially since I'm only about 45min north of ya) Basicly what it is, is
water getting on the belts and pullies. Since some rocket scientist didn't
provide a splash guard down by the water pump/pwr steering area, water gets
on these and rides the belts on up. On the norm, it's my pwr steering that
is effected, but if I hit a big enough puddle, 4" of standing water will
easily do it, I get the alt light problem you were talking about. it's just
water on the belts and while it isn't good, the cars are good about
spinning/burning it off pretty quick. Once of these days I think I'm going
to see if I can make a spalsh guard for that area. BTW, the lower the car
sits, the easier it is for this to happen.
