Forced to get an inexpensive paint job

It pains me to even put this down on "paper"
I just cant get together the money for a decent (not trailer queen) body
shop paint job. Around 2K I was figuring.  This car will be a daily driver
and it is down to the bare metal now per the advice of a shop that I was
taking with several months ago.  Has been for a while.  I am about to take
it to one of the "chain" paint shops (I wont mention any names).  I hate
doing this but I have to get this thing painted.   Since all the
glass/trim/bumpers etc is off I figure that reduces my chance at the over
spray/masking type flaws that are more likely w/ a cheap shop.    What do
you all think.  I am a little bit desperate here.  Or I would be doing this.
I am not a perfectionist and I am expecting to be a bit dissapointed with
the results, but I just dont know.  Can anyone out there sympathize and give
me a "I did this and it wasnt TOO bad...there there..."
My car deserves better I know.   I fully intend to do it right, later when I
can pay the rest of my bills each month w/o have to rob the grocery budget.
