(final scirocco cd #'s): Re: Insane speed in german cars... slightly OT, had to share...

source: vw power and style:
(talking abt. intro of scirocco mk2)
"[blabla changes to body style blabla]...all these factors went towards the drag
coefficient of 0.38, a vast improvement from the original scirocco's 0.42"
(then talking abt. scirocco 16v)
"blabla talking abt. 16v kit effects blabla]...the larger spoilers offering
extra downforce without affecting the drag coefficient which remained at 0.38"

end result:
mk1 rocco: .42
mk2 rocco 8v: .38
mk2 rocco 16v: .38 (more aerodynamic, but with more downforce, "60% more" at the
rear, which actually brings the scirocco close to 50/50 distribution at high
speeds (yay!))
side note: kamei x1 kit: still 0.38, but with even further downforce effects
rieger kit??? no info, but im still researching it. now all of this talk has got
me curious. anyone got a wind tunnel i can use???
