MK1 Paint/Styling opinions wanted

I saw an thing in the paper a few years ago about an anti theft 
system in south Africa that shot flames six feet out from the 
underside of the car to deter would-be thieves...It was also 
guaranteed not to damage your cars paint or finish... ;)
