beating a vw



Yeah, they like it. As long as you take care of them and run them hard, 
they seem to even run better... IME.
However, you have to take care of them nicely, of course. I've seen plenty 
of kids beat on GTIs, etc and kill them. My old black GTI had to have its 
motor changed because the previous kid let it run 2.5 quarts low on oil 
and was revving it up to 7500rpm in second gear around a corner... WHAM! 
rod through the block. Duh :)
