Financial tally on our cars!

Hmmm, OK

700 for the car (87 16v) purchased Feb 2002
95 hall sender
400 replacement motor
~200 various seals, motor mounts, hardware, timing belt, oil filter, etc
68 transfer registration/plates to car
227 for all 4 rotors, metal pads, rear wheel bearings and seals
83 right rear caliper (just bought today).

It's been driven a little over 1,500 miles since replacement motor
installed, 27-28 mpg = 55 gals@1.65/gal = about 90 for gas

15 oil change after 250 miles or so

That's about 1878. OK, not much so far. But, there is still much more
to do as this car was severely neglected. It needs control arms with
bushings, struts (for lowered/sport springs), strut bearings, why not
ball joints while it's apart, 4 new tires two of which I have already,
etc. The list could go on....
