well you could change ball joint, tie rods and bearings, but might as well
add A-Arms, and bushings while your there...
now the" newer feel" your looking for is probably as need for a) new power
steering pump b) new power steering collumn

I want to have a newer feel to the steering in my 85 Scirocco. It has
quite a bit of play due to its age and mileage. Would putting new tie rods,
ball joints, etc. in help this problem. I have not worked on front end
parts much. If this is not what I need, what would be a good place to
start?
