(OT) things to say while woking on your car

Sorry, coach, but I really need to disagree here. I grew up in Moto=
wn,
and I've worked on a large number of things made from Detroit Steel. For=
 the
past 12 years I've also done all the work on my 8v. As soon as you start
looking for (marginally) above average performance you're in for a lot of
seriously weird experiences. You can spend days polishing the spacers to=
 get
that lovely new Holley Carb to fit under the hood (only off by about 1/32=
 of an
inch, but if the spacer isn't perfect...). Or maybe you want to spend da=
ys at
the u-pullit looking for rear-end spiders that aren't pre-cracked?
Yes there are some things the Deutsche dudes have gone out of their =
way to
irritate me with, but overall, life with my 'Rocco is a lot better than l=
ife
with a 1969 Dodge Coronet (looks like a Charger) :) That and it's nice =
to
have an engine that can reasonably be expected to survive more than 20000=
0Km. =20

Cheers,
Colin

If you can read this line, you're probably not illiterate.
