america got 16v sciroccos!!!!!!...but how good do u think scalas are?

The white scala I think is the only version which gets lumped into this 
category: a 'hairdresser's car' MUST be predominantly white, sporty although 
not necessarily high performance. It's an accessory. Prime examples would be 
the smaller jeeps like the suzuki, british ford escort XR3i, ford fiesta 
xr2i, etc.    The british VW watercooled scene seems to revolve around the 
MKI golf/early MKII golf, for older cars, and the MKIV polo & golf onwards 
for those wanting something newer. The advantage of this is that sciroccos 
are pretty cheap and therefore much better value than the golf. MKI 
sciroccos are almost non-existant, due to the dreaded tin-worm and decent 
older MKIIs are getting rarer. You can still find nice later models easily 
enough.
