Group buy! (was: Hatch cover holders)

I'm not questioning how effective they would be at all. I'm sure that they
fit the function quite nicely.

I can't speak for most people, but I would want to try to stay as close to
OEM as possible for a piece like this. The further from stock you wander,
the more it appears that you jury-rigged it.
