heat trasnfer from exhasut to intake manifolds



Header wrap is the only thing I know of that will work on the lower half.  I
have it on my race car and it seems OK.  If you are going to use it on the
street you should definatly use the high temp spray stuff they recommend to
finish it.

At the job previous to the one I have now I designed induction heating units
for the forging industry.  There were 2 material that we used all the time
that would probably fit the bill for a heat shield between the intake and
exhaust.  One was a material called NAD-11.  It was basically a concrete
reinforced board.  The other one that's probably better suited was called
RS-100.  I don't think that either was really cheap, but I beleive the
RS-100 cost more.
