Now a question



reverse is(uses) second, and there are no syncros for reverse. If it grinds as you try to push into
reverse, your clutch is not disengaging fully. If it pops out and grinds when you try to actually
move backwards (let out on clutch), the linkage needs adjustment, as you are hitting the end of
shifter travel before the tranny goes into reverse fully.
