What has this world come to?

I think in the world of stock AWD vehicles the vanagon is probably pretty
high on the list of agility etc.  I wouldn't go rock climbing with it but it
is still pretty impressive.  Now the motor, that is a different story!!!
Throw in a flat 6 subaru and your set!!
