Many listers have cured problems by doing what Aaron has done. Just =
remember; you shouldn't need additional ground straps IF the stock =
straps and their connections are clean and properly grounded. I know, =
on my '87, the ground strap (from the intake to the coil bracket) was =
grounded to the painted firewall. Paint does not allow a good ground. =
Sand the paint off, to bare metal, and coat with any anti-corrosion =
grease.

Had the the same exact problem, all ya gotta do is beef up your =
grounds, i put two 8 gauge wires going fromthe neg of battery, to the =
alternator, and one going to the coil bracket, bolt. My car starts all =
the time first time now.
