Removing glass...how to w/o wrecking seals?

Marc,

In my experience, I have been able to take out every window in a MKI
Scirocco without breaking it and without cutting the gasket EXCEPT the front
windshield. And I have tried...unsuccessfully at least 4 times. If there is
a trick to taking out the glass and saving the gasket at the same time, I
have yet to learn that one.

I'm not saying that it can't be done, because every time I've tried I've
thought I was sooooo close to doing it. But then it broke.

Good luck -- Craig Williams
