winter projects, Passats

I'm working on my transformer. In Other words, I'm trying to make the car
that transforms it'self into a paperweight into a car again. I'm also
working on saving a couple of wayward Mk1's that happened to find thier way
to the local wreckin' yard. Other projects would include My Folks Vanagon,
with water in the fuel, Thier BWM with oil issues (it's not getting any to
the front 2 cyl, and hasn't for a while), My wife's Nissan (gawd how I hate
doing bodywork), and last and by far least, My trials bike is in need of a
re-build.

It's kinda das because this list is in order of improtance, and right now
the nissan is my daily driver! and since the trials bike makes me money, I
should get on that second. My Dad's a mechanic, so he really should take
care of his own cars, but I'm all over it anyway. Add to that the fact that
the guy that has the jumkyard told me that the 2 Mk1's in there aren't going
anywhere soon, and my car is almost crossed off the list because it's
finally working now :)

Okay, there has been an awful lot of question asking without specifics (
CR's,
F/R wt ratios, etc) so how about everyone spills the beans and tell us about
the winter projects they have on the go, what you've got, what you're doing
and why, that sort of thing. Just to kill the winter blahs.
I'll start. I'm doing nothing / having nothing done to my car this winter.
Okay, maybe new headlights if it stays warm.
Allyn's been nice enough to let us in on his twin project. Now your turn.

And another question, is a Passat the standard second car, am I missing
something and didn't get one free with my Scirocco purchase? Seems an awful
lot of listers have them...
