    Glad to lend a hand. What Dan didnt mention was that he helped me get
rid of the 2 extremely annoying dash rattles, preventing me from driving the
rieger off a cliff. Turns out the hinges for the hood (at the pivot) were
the culprets, of all things. If you have a dense sounding clunky rattle deep
in your dash (between cluster and vent on driver side or between glove box
and vent on passenger side), its coming from your hood hinges!
    We also found that my lower steering column bearing had completely
fallen out (yet another rattle). Someone (who shall remain
nameless---**aaahhh-(Ryan)-hheemmm**), loostened the bolt for the u-joint at
the base of the shaft, the shaft slid down about 1/4", and the bearing came
apart. It wasnt much of a rattle, but the steering is ALOT better now.
